1925 – Organization began in Owen Sound
1932 – Services conducted in the rented facility of Women’s Christian Temperance Union Hall.
1933 – Congregation became the daughter of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Wiarton
1935 – Lutheran Church Women was organized
1965 – Summer ministry began at Sauble Beach
1965 – Cornerstone laid for the church’s current location
1966 – The church dedication was held
1970 – Lutheran Church of Our Saviour and St. Peter’s become separate parishes
1971 – Melbourne Place Nursing Home opened as a ministry of the congregation
1976 – Addition to the Fellowship Hall was built
1980 – Dedication and opening of a new Lutheran Nursing Home
1988 – St. Francis Place opens as a housing ministry of the congregation
2012 – Corbett Place, a 24-unit Life Lease building, opens as part of the congregation’s housing ministry.
