Welcome to Our Church

Church Re-Opening!

This communication is being sent to all the members of the Owen Sound Lutheran Church.

After 6 months of not being able to use the church building, your congregational council is happy to let you know that in person Sunday services will be resuming.

Please be aware that the services will look different – information will be forwarded to you with more detail of what to expect.

The Sunday services, and the daily devotionals, that have been available on YouTube will continue for the foreseeable future.

The first service is planned to be an outside service on Sunday September 20th. More information will be forwarded with the details of this service.

The second service is planned for Sunday October 11th. This will be our first service being held in the church. It is planned that there will be services in the church every Sunday from then on. More information will be forwarded with the details of this first inside service and all services going forward.

Also, the church council approved the use of the Fellowship Hall, kitchen, library and washrooms by the community group known as REACH. REACH provides life learning skills to local adults with disabilities. This is a temporary arrangement for September and October while a long term facility is made ready for the group. Due to COVID-19 guidelines, measures will be in place to prevent church members and REACH users from mixing.
